Recently Finished: Double Standards by Judith McNaught

You know when addicted bloggers say that they haven’t had time to blog because of school and everything? I used to scoff at them—after all, you can make time for anything if you really want to—but not I realize that it is real. It actually does happen. And experiencing it is even worse than reading about it.
Homework. Ugh. The word should be replaced by ‘concentration camps.’ It doesn’t matter how much I complete, more and more just piles. Oh, I think, it is the weekend, maybe I’d finally make a dent at some of it. But no. Something more urgent would arise. Like the last weekend when my aunt and uncle arrived with their three kids in tow, and insisted we go and watch a movie with them, even when I told them I had a test next day.
I have another Economics test next Monday, at whose book I haven’t even glanced at. I still have to finish making all the notes because I can start learning. Plus, our Head Of Department, has chosen me and another guy to be the student reporters, and we have to maintain a register of all the activities that have happened since the session started and those that are going to happen. Then we have to mail those to the chief editor of the local newspaper, which often does feature stories on the activities of various schools in the locality. I don’t even know if that made sense. :/
Which reminds me, I have to finish a 500-word essay on 2010: An Environmental Disaster Or The Technological Era by tomorrow, something I was told about today. Submissions from the whole country would be pouring in, but the winning prize is 5000 bucks, so I am willing to give it a try.

I am sorry that I am really behind in responding to comments, however paltry they may be. I am also working on another site, which I may run along with this or might move—depending on Liz’s host.
We have a new affiliate, the wonderful Megan and I am also hoping to upload some articles I have with me on the website this weekend.
